As a protective product closely related to human health, the quality supervision of face masks is crucial. To ensure that masks provide adequate protection, countries have established corresponding production standards and quality requirements, strictly managing the mask production process, material selection, performance testing, and sales. Qualified masks must meet relevant standards, ensuring they meet specified requirements in terms of filtration efficiency, breathability, and safety, preventing health risks due to product quality issues.

During production, mask manufacturers must rigorously screen raw materials. For example, non-woven fabrics, meltblown fabrics, nose bridge strips, and ear loops must all meet quality requirements. Simultaneously, the production environment, equipment hygiene, and manufacturing processes are also subject to supervision. Relevant testing institutions conduct multiple tests on masks, including filtration efficiency, bacterial filtration capacity, wearing comfort, fit, and harmful substance content, to determine if the product meets standards. Only masks that pass testing and obtain relevant certifications can be sold on the market.

Market regulatory departments also supervise and inspect the sale and distribution of masks, cracking down on counterfeit and substandard products. Some substandard masks may have insufficient filtration efficiency, unsafe materials, or improper labeling, failing to provide effective protection. Therefore, when purchasing face masks, consumers should choose to buy them through legitimate channels and check the production information, implementation standards, and relevant labels on the product packaging.
