Four color-coded models are available to protect against specific hazards: organic gases and vapors, inorganic gases, and acidic gases/ammonia. Back in the late 18th century, simple breathing protection devices were invented for mine dust protection. In 1849, the first filter-type respirator was patented, which filtered dust from air and became the prototype of modern respirators.

During World War I, the use of chemical gas accelerated the development of gas masks. Activated carbon filtration technology was widely adopted to adsorb toxic gas, not only blocking dust.

After World War II, gas mask technology was gradually adapted for industrial civilian use, applied in chemical, spray painting and grinding industries. Europe released EN136:1998 standard for full face respirators in 1998, setting requirements for mask structure, sealing, vision and material performance. This is the certification standard for our hot-selling main respirator.

Modern chemical full-face respirators adopt silicone seal, wide vision lens and low-resistance dual filter cartridges. They balance reliable protection and wearing comfort, acting as essential PPE against dust, organic vapors and paint mist.

These four chemical protective respirators come as a set; each set includes a mask body, a pair of filter cartridges, ten filter pads, a pair of filter covers, a black non-woven dust bag, and an inner box.
