Product Introduction
This respirator is equipped with the 60923 integrated filter cartridge, designed specifically for grinding applications to provide simultaneous protection against organic vapors, acidic gases, and solid particulates.
Grinding operations involving metals and composite materials often generate both dust and harmful fumes. This cartridge eliminates the need for a separate pre-filter, simplifying installation; it is compatible with various reusable respirators, meets PPE safety standards, allows for easy replacement, and effectively safeguards the respiratory health of grinding operators.
Key Advantages
1.Comprehensive Protection: Simultaneously protects the eyes, face, and respiratory tract, preventing eye irritation or chemical burns caused by paint mists and acidic or alkaline vapors-protection that a standard half-mask cannot provide.
2.Excellent Anti-Fog Performance: Features a separate nose-and-mouth chamber design that minimizes fogging during prolonged use; suitable for wearers of prescription glasses.
3.Reusable Mask Body: The silicone mask body can be washed with soapy water after removing the filter cartridges; simply air-dry it for reuse. Only the filter cartridges need replacement, making it highly cost-effective for long-term use.
Grinding Gases & Cartridges
1.Type A (brown, for organic vapors): Most commonly used. Protects against organic solvent vapors; ideal for metal grinding, resin, coating and paint sanding applications.
2.Type E (yellow, for acid gases): For wet metal grinding and grinding workpieces after pickling, where SO₂, HCl and Cl₂ are generated.
3.A+E combined filter cartridge: Guards against a mixture of organic vapors and acid gases. Highly recommended for grinding pickled or electroplated workpieces.
Important Notice: Filter cartridges must be fitted with particulate filter cotton (P2/P3) to block grinding dust. Integrated filter cartridges such as 60923 (A1+P100) are well suited for grinding scenarios, providing protection against organic vapors plus high-efficiency particulate filtration.
