Different filter cartridges contain activated carbon impregnated with specific agents tailored to the gases they are designed to filter; for instance, the WK6001CN model incorporates coconut shell-based material to provide protection against organic gases and vapors.

Use in combination
This series of filter cartridges offers broad compatibility, fitting half-face and full-face respirators such as the 6200 and 6800 series. The cartridge itself protects only against hazardous gases and vapors; to also block dust and aerosol particulates, it must be used in conjunction with the 5N11CN pre-filter and filter cover to provide dual protection against both gases and dust.
