P100 Particulate Filter

The 2097 is a P100 particulate filter that delivers a minimum filtration efficiency of 99.97% against both oil-based and non-oil-based particulates, effectively capturing welding fumes, grinding dust, paint overspray, heavy metal particles, and microbial aerosols at the submicron level. Compared with the baseline 2091 filter, the 2097 P100 particulate filter incorporates an additional activated carbon odor adsorption layer within its media stack, which mitigates nuisance-level organic vapor odors in the workplace while maintaining full particulate filtration performance - improving comfort during extended wear.

The 2097 P100 particulate filter features a bayonet-style connection that mounts directly to a wide range of compatible half-mask and full-face respirators, requiring no tools or adapters for quick installation or replacement.

The 2097 P100 particulate filter uses a central rigid support frame with symmetrical media layers on both sides, preventing one-sided collapse and ensuring stable airflow and breathing resistance throughout use.

From the outer surface to the central frame, each side consists of five layers:

Non-Woven Fabric - Pre-filters larger particles and protects inner media from abrasion.

Thermal-Bonded Layer - High-porosity layer capturing medium-sized particulates and increasing dust-holding capacity.

Needle-Punched Layer - Dense transitional layer that further enhances filtration stability and dust capacity.

Melt-Blown Fabric - Core P100 filtration layer; electrostatically charged ultra-fine PP fibers capture ≥99.97% of submicron particulates.

Activated Carbon Layer - Key upgrade over the 2091; adsorbs nuisance-level organic vapor odors while filtering particulates.

The central support frame anchors both media stacks, ensuring even airflow distribution across the full 2097 P100 particulate filter surface and preventing premature clogging.
