Respiratory Hazards in Mining Industry
Mining operations, including coal mining and non-metallic mining, cover core working processes such as excavation and mineral processing. Typical job roles include rock drilling, borehole drilling, tunneling, roof support, loading, blasting, haulage, crushing, screening, gravity separation, flotation, magnetic separation and electrostatic separation.

Suitable for regular mining posts with mineral dust exposure only and no toxic gas release, including open-pit mining, ore transportation, crushing & screening and open roadway cleanup. The primary hazards at these worksites are ultra-fine mineral dust, silica dust, rock dust and trace heavy metal particulates generated during ore processing, blasting dust emission and rock stripping. Long-term inhalation may trigger silicosis, respiratory damage and chronic pharyngitis. Matched with KN100 high-efficiency filters for non-oily particulates with a minimum filtration efficiency of 99.97%, the assembly efficiently captures ultra-fine mine dust and fine solid particles. The integrated full-face sealing structure of the WK6800 mining full face mask conforms to facial contours to eliminate dust leakage. Applicable to mining posts with organic contaminant emission, such as on-site equipment lubrication & maintenance, underground anti-corrosion coating, resin reinforcement and organic solvent cleaning. Apart from routine mineral dust, these tasks continuously release benzene series, alkanes, volatile esters and other organic vapors that irritate respiratory tracts and mucous membranes and may result in chronic poisoning upon prolonged exposure. The dedicated A1 organic vapor cartridge adsorbs low-concentration volatile organic toxicants. When paired with P2 particulate filters, it forms a dual protection system against organic gases and mineral dust. The sealed design of the WK6800 mining full face mask protects eyes and delicate facial mucosa from corrosion and irritation by organic vapors, fitting mining conditions with combined low-concentration organic pollutants and dust.
WK6800 Full-Face Respirator + Air-Purifying Gas Mask (A1B1E1K1P2 Grade)
Primarily deployed for combined-contamination mining workstations including routine underground tunneling, roadway stabilization, shallow mining operations and wet mineral processing. Underground mine spaces are confined with poor ventilation, creating a complex mix of pollutants. Besides regular mineral dust and organic vapors, rock weathering, ore decomposition and mechanical operation may produce hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and other acidic inorganic gases, as well as alkaline irritant gases such as ammonia. Multiple pollutants act synergistically to harm the respiratory system. The multi-purpose A1B1E1K1 combined cartridge captures organic vapors, acid gases, alkaline gases and malodorous irritant gases. Designed for high-risk, heavy-duty mining operations: deep mining, confined roadway tasks, post-blast cleanup, mining in high-impurity ore seams and inspection of aged mine workings. These confined, poorly ventilated sites contain high-concentration, multi-component contaminants. In addition to common organic, acidic and alkaline toxic gases, there is abundant oily mine dust and sticky mixed ultra-fine particulates which cannot be fully filtered by standard dust media. P100 grade filters remove both oily and non-oily ultra-fine particulates, with wider coverage and superior precision compared to N100 filters for complex mine dust environments.
