Silicone Half Face Respirator

When the wearer inhales, a negative pressure (below ambient atmospheric pressure) is created inside the facepiece, forcing ambient air to enter only through the filter cartridges or particulate filters. Harmful gases, vapors, or particulates are adsorbed or trapped as the air passes through the filter media, while clean air reaches the respiratory tract.

Upon exhalation, the pressure inside the facepiece rises, automatically opening the central exhalation valve to discharge warm, moist exhaled air directly out of the mask. Simultaneously, the inhalation valve closes to prevent exhaled air from flowing back into the filter cartridges. The entire process forms a one-way airflow cycle.

Silicone (Liquid Silicone Rubber, LSR) is more than just a material choice - it directly affects protective performance:

High Elasticity + Deformation Resistance: Retains its original shape after repeated donning, ensuring consistent seal integrity that does not degrade over prolonged use.

Temperature Resistance: Does not harden in low-temperature environments or stick to the skin under high-heat conditions, keeping the sealing edge firmly fitted to the face even in extreme temperatures.

Chemical Inertness: Does not react with common hazardous gases and will not swell upon solvent contact - a condition that could otherwise compromise the seal.

Hypoallergenic: Latex-free formulation, suitable for extended skin contact.
